Blogmas Day 9: Office Beauty Essentials

Blogmas Day 9, it's Monday. A fresh start to the working week... boo..

I work in an office, a law firm, it is a real office. Never-ending paperwork, never-ending phone calls... It could be so depressed. I keep a small bunch of essentials by my computer to help me getting through the days.

Lips Category
Maybelline Baby Lips
Dermacol Love Lip balm (@beautyandbread bought me this from Prague - blog post here

Dry lips is one of the main problem working in an office... Tea/Coffee drinking, the central heating/air con system... My lips are dry all the time. I use Maybelline Baby Lips for hydration all the time, it has no colour, so no matter how busy I am, just one quick swipe and it's done. If I want some colour, I have Dermacol tinted lip balm and Benefit lipstick to choose from, depends on which shade I want. Dermacol is more pink, and Benefit is more rosy neutral. Both are very hydrating and easy to apply, even without a mirror.

Elemis Pro-Radiance Hand and Nail Cream - £23
Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel

Apart from lips, dealing with files and paperwork can be really drying to hands! I got this Elemis travel size hand cream as part of a set. I really like this hand cream, the texture is luxurious, it's a little bit thicker than normal hand cream, it feels very hydrating yet not greasy, quickly absorb by hands. It smells incredible too!
I always keep an anti-bacterial hand gel nearby, you would not believe how much dust can be gathered in a closed windows office!

The Extra bits...
Elemis Spa@Home Quiet Mind Temple Balm - £16

I have mentioned this as my on-the-go stress relief aid in Blogmas Day 6. This is my office saviour at the moment. Whenever I feel stress, I rub some on my temples and under my nose, the lavender and minty smell calm me down right away.

These products help me to survive in the office.

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
