Happy Chinese New Year! Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous year!  恭喜發財！祝大家身體健康，心想事成！羊年事事如意！

I am starting a new word called "wlog", it means  "Weekly Log". Video Log is "vlog", so the blog version of a random daily or weekly posts about what's going on in life is "wlog". ;) I am in Hong Kong now. Today is Chinese New Year's Eve.

In light of the continuing pro-democracy protest in Hong Kong (coded as the “Umbrella Revolution”), as a Hong Konger (despite I live in London), I don’t feel right to carry on posting the usual content on this blog. Instead I am taking a short break from blogging this week to send my thoughts and support to Hong Kong.

I am back to the wintry London! That means my Hong Kong trip has come to an end (boo!). I had a wonderful three weeks and if you haven't seen my weekly roundup while I was there, you can catch up in here , here and here . I had some really fun time with my sister  +Cynthy Chui  (@beautyorbread), and obviously we did a fair bit of shopping! So I am going to quickly show you what I have bought. I will have some in-depth posts for some individual products. If you want me to review anything in particular, do leave me a comment below.

This post is dedicated to my Hong Kong readers. My skin was so dry and itchy since I arrived Hong Kong, so I was desperately looking for a body lotion. My criteria were: small bottle (as I only stay for just under 3 weeks), not too expensive and a brand that was not available in the UK. It was not easy as most body lotions were huge in size. Until one evening I had an after dinner stroll with my best friend Kit, she asked "do you know Watsons (similar to Boots) have their own brand products too?" We took a look and I saw this little bottle of body lotion. The price was so reasonable, only HKD$12.90 (£1). All I wanted was a standard lotion so I didn't think twice and bought it straight away. And OMG! I didn't expect it was so good!!

When I went for a casual browse in Sasa (Sephora equivalent, but have a lot of affordable brands too) recently, I must have spent an hour just looking at the tools section. I found my two essential tools but in handy travel size! They are a small eyelash curler and a small version of Real Technique Expert Face brush. Birchbox regular eyelash curler, Koji eyelash curler No 71, Real Technique Expert Face brush, Makel Foundation brush
