Blogmas Day 9: Finally got my Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face & Sheer Powder Brushes

Did you take advantage of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales? I did! Debenham had 10% off on all beauty on Black Friday sale but then House of Fraser had 15% off on beauty on Cyber Monday! It was the best discount that I have come across (Bobbi Brown never have discounts), the perfect chance to get the two Bobbi Brown brushes that I have been eyeing up forever! They are the Full Coverage Face brush and the Sheer Powder brush . I am obsessed with powder brushes as powder is a step that I never missed in my routine. Full Coverage Face brush has a short handle which will have better control in application and is great for travelling. I am really excited to use them and I shall report back with a more detail review. Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush - House of Fraser - £30 Bobbi Brown Sheer Powder Brush - House of Fraser - £30

Cleaning Brushes Made Easy with Vegan Brush Shampoo

I know the feeling... Washing brushes is probably the worst part in our makeup routine, but we just have to get on with it. My way to make it a bit more enjoyable is to buy a fancier yet effective product. I found the Vegan Brush Shampoo by London Brush Company is so good!

IMATS London 2014 Roundup

Another year of IMATS completed, did you go and what do you think of this year?

Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Brush Set

I have been eyeing up the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Brush set for quite some time…but the stock was tight. I kept waiting and waiting until one Sunday afternoon I got an email to say it was back in stock! I was walking down the street at the time, I just stopped and stood on the road for 10 mins  to get my order in. I was obsessed.!About a week later my parcel from Zoeva arrived all the way from Germany!

5 Favourite Brushes : Real Techniques, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars and more!

Apart from tons of makeup, every beauty addict will have countless brushes too! Today I am sharing my 5 favourite brushes and what products I use them with.

Current Makeup Staples #2

It’s Current Staples time again! (Check out my previous Current Makeup Staples post -> here ). If you are new to my blog or to this series, let me explain - My makeup routine doesn’t change that much. If I like a product, I could use the same thing straight for 2 or 3 months, despite I have enough makeup to supply a village! So in F&B here, I don’t do Monthly Favourites (because it will be the same thing every month), instead I do Current Staples every 3 months or so to share what I have been using. If I reach for the same product(s) for 3 months straight, I know (and you know) it’s a good one!! So let’s get started!

Travel Size Tools: Eyelash Curler & Expert Face brush

When I went for a casual browse in Sasa (Sephora equivalent, but have a lot of affordable brands too) recently, I must have spent an hour just looking at the tools section. I found my two essential tools but in handy travel size! They are a small eyelash curler and a small version of Real Technique Expert Face brush. Birchbox regular eyelash curler, Koji eyelash curler No 71, Real Technique Expert Face brush, Makel Foundation brush

Birthday Goodies 2013

November is my favourite month of the year because the weather gets cooler, I can wear my cozy sweaters & boots & dark nail colours. But more importantly, November is my birthday month! This year, my birthday is kicked off by a packet of goodies  that my sister Cynthy ( @beautyorbread ) sent me from Hong Kong!

Things that I bought in IMATS London : 22 June 2013

I had a few items on my wish list that I was planning to get at IMATS - Brushes from Hakuhodo and Crown brushes, Z palette, and a freedom palette from Inglot. And I am pleased to report that I was very much on target, and I didn't stray off track to buy anything extras.
