Last time I shared my Current Makeup Staples , this time it is all about skincare.

It was the beginning of August when I first saw Clarins Autumn/Winter 2013 released. The collection includes: limited edition face & blush powder, eyeshadow palette, lipstick, mascara, a very interesting 3 dot liquid eye liner. But what caught my eye was the eye pencils. If you have read my previous post, I have bought a beautiful Dior eyeshadow palette for my autumn eye, the colours in that palette are khaki, blue & taupe. I have been looking for eye pencils to match them. So when I saw that there is a khaki colour in Clarins, I right away ordered 4 colours (out of the 8 in the collection). The 4 eye pencils that I picked up are:

I don't know about other people, but my face doesn't seem to hold on to my makeup that well. I have combination skin in general but very oily eye lids, so no eye shadows would stay on. I normally put my makeup on at around 7.30am in the morning, then off to work. By about 11-12noon, most of my makeup will have melted and I would look like I never put any makeup on in the first place. I just don't have the time and energy to pop to the ladies to top up my face every few minutes. So any products that says "long lasting up to 16 hours" would really appeal to me.

I have become foundation obsessed recently, and I notice a few tiny fine lines around my mouth (O-M-G!). The normal drugstore foundations cannot satisfy my obsession anymore. With the appearance of "fine lines", I believe I should step up my skincare routine, and this has given me a perfect excuse to explore the higher end beauty products.
