Blogmas Day 6: On-The-Go Stress Relief Aid

Blogmas Day 6! And it is friday!! Yay!!!

I have been quite stressed lately... stressful at work, competing and battling on the trains... (why there seem to be so many more people everywhere recently?!) So I have been looking for some on-the-go stress relief solution to keep me calm whenever I needed. Here are my two current favourites:

Caudalie Beauty Elixir - SpaceNK - £11

This is a cult classic. It has an unique blend of 100% essential oils. The nozzle produces a fine mist so it can be sprayed directly onto the face, or spray onto palms first, rubbing hands together and inhale the scent. This L'wren Scott Limited Edition design is such a beautiful bottle to carry round in handbag. It is a particularly good mist for travelling on plane to hydrate skin and calming air sickness.

Elemis Spa@Home Quiet Mind Temple Balm - feelunique.com - £16

This is a new discovery to me. I got this as part of their Indulgent Treasures Gift Set (£25). The balm is a blend of calming essential oils. It is in a clear serum texture. A couple of pumps to massage on temples, back of ear lobes, I also like to rub a bit under my nose. The smell is truely wonderful and calming, the main note is lavender. It must also have peppermint oil too as it has very cooling. I have been keeping this at my office desk!  After taking a stressful phone call, I need a rub on my temples and under my nose and inhale deep.... I am addicted to this balm, I am telling you...!

Have you tried any of these calming products before? I love hear to any other suggestions!

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
