Getting Organized: Trish McEvoy Makeup Planner (Limited Edition)

I have my eyes on a Trish McEvoy Makeup Planner for quite some time, as I do carry quite a bit of makeup with me everyday for general touching up and refreshing my face for going out after work. However, it is always the price that hold me back.

The tipping point came recently when Rachel Talbott (CheckIntheMirror) showed her pink makeup planner in her May Favourite video, that I said to myself, "OMG! I REALLY WANT ONE NOW!" So I popped down to the Trish McEvoy counter in Selfridges.

When I looked it up on Selfridges online store, they have the black patented one, which is their permanent range. But when I went at the weekend, they have this beautiful emrald green limited edition! The colour is just gorgeous! I was sold already just by the colour.

When the counter lady came over to talk me through the planner, to my surprise, the limited edition planner came with a tons of goodies!!

4 x eye shadows
A blush (iridescent pink)
A finishing powder (the white one, but it's translucent when applied to face)
A bronzer
Lip Liner (Barely There) with lip brush on the other end
Mascara
Eye Primer base (Bare)
Eye Brightener
Lipgloss SPF 15 (Sexy Nude)
Lipstick (Barely There)

Also two empty spaces on the inserting page for further expansions.

I have never tried any Trish McEvoy makeup before, so it is a very good starter kit to try out their products.

I have customised it to put my own brushes in but take out products like eye primer.

Trish McEvoy's Limited Edition is always popular, and once they are gone, they are really gone! You have to be quick!

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
