Benefits All-Star Kit: The Bronze of Champions

Thanks to Lily Pebbles (@lilypebbles) tip off in Instagram, I went to Boots* to look for the three Iconic Kits from Benefits.

They are:
Primping with the Stars - "An all time greatest fake it" kit
Do the Bright Thing - "A best & brightest total makeup"kit
The Bronze of Champions - "A total bronze kit for eyes, lips & cheeks"

Benefits do the best kits and I love them! With the price of a single product, you get around 6 miniature products to try out and play with in each kit. I am such a fan of Benefits right from the beginning when I first started makeup, so I have pretty much every single products either in full or mini size. So out of the three kits, I have only picked up "The Bronze of Champions", as it has products that I don't currently have but have been wanting to try for a long time.

The Kit contains everything you need to bronze up your face: eyes, cheeks and lips.

It contains:
"Watt's up" highlighter
"Hoola" bronzing powder for face
"Bikini-tini" creaseless cream eye shadow
"Thanks a latte" longwear powder eyeshadow
"Hoola" ultra plush lipgloss
"They're real" mascara

As all the Benefit kits, it comes with an instruction booklet to show tips & tricks on creating different looks, and a big mirror, which is always handy.

Bikini-tini and Thanks a latte are also shimmery, but they are such gorgeous colours. These are by all means not new products, they have all been around for a while. I have heard a lot of good things about Bikini-tini in the past that I am very much look forwarding to try it on. It can be use alone as an all over the lid colour on a lazy day, or an inner corner highlight to brighten up the eyes, or as an eye base for powder shadow to stay on for longer.

My favourite product in the kit has to be the little Watts Up, it is in lipstick form in such a cute pretty tube! Watts Up is a highlighter in a beautiful champagne colour with a hint of pink undertone.

As travel size miniatures, they all have a very generous amount of products in that would last for a good while.

This kit is great for the summer, an easy, almost foolproof way to give a bronzy healthy glow to your face, it is a brilliant kit to travel with for a beach holiday!

Definitely worth checking all the kits out when you next walk past a Benefit counter !

(*At the time of writing, Boots is having a points events, where you get 10 points for every £1 when you spend £15 or over - another perfect excuse to buy these kits today!)

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce

Makeup Lego : Jouer Little Black Dress Palette

I love Lego and I love Makeup - what if there is a Lego in the makeup world....?! Jouer Cosmetics has made this dream come true, especially with the two palettes that they have: Blushing Beauty Collection and the Little Black Dress palette. A few YouTubers like Essie Button , Fleur De Force , and Ameila have talked about the Blushing Beauty Collection on their videos, but I actually prefer the Little Black Dress palette instead.
