Breakfast with my Tiffany nails: NYC nail polish


Never pay attention to the brand NYC in Superdrug. Perhaps it's because their products are so cheap in prices, that I automatically assume they are aimed at the teenage market. Not until recently I read Fleur de Force's post about their Tiffany blue nail polish. I love Tiffany's jewelry & their packaging (who doesn't?!) I HAVE to check this out!




As Fleur has mentioned on her post, Superdrug must have made a mistake in the labels of the polishes. There is a baby blue and this green Tiffany colour - green one is called Blue Sky, the baby blue one is called Raindrops. However, it is the other way round on the shelf! I was completely confused, but as both are really pretty colours, and they are not expensive (£1.79 each), I bought both in the end.


The consistency is good - thick but not gloopy. Two coats and a top coat will give a beautiful finish. The brush is good too, technically it is not those special wide brush, but still it is a bit wider than a traditional nail polish brush.


I am very pleased with the colour, it does look very similar, almost identical to the Tiffany shade. It is a great summer colour!!

Tiffany fans out there, you HAVE TO GET THIS!

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night.
