Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara

I think I am getting obsessed with Tarte at the moment (see my posts here, here  & here ). As if I haven’t bored you enough, I have yet another Tarte product that I have been using every single day lately… and that is the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara.

First thing first – when I first got this mascara, I suddenly realised “Oh no! I bought the non-waterproof version!! Arrgh!!” Not many waterproof mascaras can survive my ridiculously oily eye lids without smudges, let alone a non-waterproof formula. With Tarte mascaras all have similar (almost the same) purple packaging and extremely similar names, I inevitably clicked the wrong one to my basket. (doh!)

When I realised my mistake, I was absolutely gutted. But since I bought it, I thought I would still give it a go. And magic happened – IT DOES NOT SMUDGE!

The wand is skinny and plastic, which I do like. The formula is quite wet, so don’t blink too hard after applying as it will transfer. However, the wet formula also means that it is easy to build up the layers to give volume and length.

I love this mascara! It gives my lashes length and volume, it doesn’t smudge after 12 hours of wearing time. As it is a non-waterproof formula, it is so easy to remove at the end of each day. I love the wand and the unique purple snake-skin patterned packaging.

I LOVE IT!

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
