"My Lips But Better" Lipsticks: Urban Decay, Benefit, Loreal, Too Faced & MAC

After reading Jen From Head to Toe's MLBB (My Lips But Better) Lipsticks post (here), I am inspired to share my own MLBB. I hope this post will be particular useful to my UK readers, as Jen is in America, so not all products she recommends are available in the UK.

Jen's Recommendation:

I am adding two to the list:

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Fiend

This is Urban Decay's new range of lipstick, hydrating & comfortable to wear. It has an opaque finish so a bit longer lasting & give a better coverage to the lips. It has a pinker tone.

Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Colour in Nice 'n Teasy

This is a new range of lipsticks to Benefit. The packaging is so beautiful! The design of the tube is not a traditional tube, it looks like a Greek architectural column, really "stand out" amongst others. The texture of this lipstick is more balmy, but it still gives a good colour payoff. The colour is slight brown tone to it.

Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Spice Spice Baby

This is probably my favourite of the five. It has the perfect balance of pink & brown tone, the perfect balance of balminess (is it a word?) & lipsticky (again, does this world exist?) colour payoff. I cannot say a bad thing about it. Well.. perhaps the only bad thing is that this range is only available online, I cannot swatch the colours before I buy.

Loreal Colour Riche Collection Privee in Rosewood Beige by Julianne Moore (limited edition)

I have to throw in a drugstore alternative. At £8.19, it is almost half priced of all the others. The catch is this is a limited collection, if you want it, get it now before it's too late!! I have chosen Julianne as it is the closest to my natural lip colour. There are altogether 6 shades in the collection to choose from.

MAC Lustre in Patisserie

Well well well! How can we not include a MAC lipstick in a lipstick post?! MAC Patisserie is a classic.  It is nude, natural, comfortable to wear, a perfect day to day lipstick!

I hope this post is helpful if you are looking for a MLBB lipstick! Some may say they all look the same, but as a beauty addict, I would argue that they are all different in shades & textures. Therefore, it is totally justifiable for me to have all of these in my handbag at one point!

What is your favourite MLBB?

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.
