What's in my bag? My Anteprima Lucchetto

If you have seen my Hong Kong Haul, you would know that my biggest and the most extravagant spent is my Anteprima bag. I love it so much that I want to dedicate a blog post on it and show you what's in it!

Anteprima is an Italian brand. It was started in Italy and Hong Kong in 1993. It was (and it still is) a fashion based brand but in 1998, the wired bag was born and it has become their most recognised product. Despite the brand still continue to bring out fashion collections and other handbags and accessories, nowadays when people mention "Anteprima", they probably refer to the wired bags.

I bought the Luchetto bag. It is the winter 2013 collection with the mix of black, burgundy and purple wires inter-woven together. The strap can be used two-ways so the bag can be worn long or short.
My sister +Cynthy Chui (@beautyorbread) has got one too! (that's why I bought mine because it looked so beautiful when she worn hers, check out her blog post on it!)
Her one is one size smaller which is perfect as a going-out-at-the-weekend casual bag. I wanted to be able to wear my bag to work everyday so I chose a bigger size to carry everything in it.

I love how the coloured wires glitten under the light and the sun, BEAUTIFUL!

The mini Anteprima bag keyring was bought separately.

Even tho it is a wired bag, the inside is lined so no need to worry about the content would fall out or been see-through from the outside.
Now to the content of my bag... I am a pouch girl, I put things in pouches to keep my bag tidy and I can find things easily. I carry my Kate Spade wallet (my favourite brand for wallets), a Cath Kidston purse, Charlotte Tilbury makeup bag, and a pouch for my iPhone battery.
Cath Kidston pouch is for random bits like a mini pen, tube map for finding alternative routes when train delays, the keypad for my online bank account. MiniQ is my iPhone battery, I keep the cable and a plug with me at all times so I can charge my iPhone at anytime.

Inside my Charlotte Tilbury makeup bag, a compact powder is my absolute must so I can touch up and take off any shine throughout the day. At the moment I am using the Chanel Les Beiges, I like that it has a slight coverage and looks natural. Love the cream packaging too, so classy!

Les Beige has a mirror but I also carry a small mirror (cute daisy mirror from Mary Quant). Dior Lip Glow is my "chaps stick", it gives a hint of colour and is very moisturising. As for lipstick I have my new Dolce & Gabbana Duo Gloss Fusion lipstick which I bought from Hong Kong. A mini Deep Sleep Stress Less from This Works is a saviour when getting a bit too much on a crowd train. So is the mini Lavender Balancing Mist from Jurlique, a very refreshing face mist. Last but not least is a mini hand sanitizer gel.

What handbag are you using and what's in it??

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
