No 7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define - a true smudge proof miracle

*Oily eyelids girls listen up! I have finally found a true smudge proof eye shadow for you! Read on!!

I first came across the No 7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define eye shadow sticks was from Alix's post, who introduced them as the dupes to By Terry's Ombré Blackstar shadow sticks (which I craved but not buy because of the high price). Always love a dupe so I went to Boots to check them out.

After I swatched about 3-4 colours at the back of my hand (which was not a long process, 30 seconds may be?), I grabbed a tissue to wipe them off...... Nope, the swatches didn't move! My jaw dropped! I couldn't believe my eyes, it REALLY didn't move!!!
It took me a few seconds to recover from my "shock" and I right away grabbed 3 colours:
COOL MINK (top) - a light taupey purpley shimmer - a great one wash wonder, or as a base colour;
COFFEE BEAN (middle) - a warm chocolate brown with purple shimmer - great for lining and as outer corners shading and ;
PINK PEARL (bottom) - light pink with silver/iridescent shimmer - great for inner comers highlight, or a light wash on the lids rather than leaving them bare.

My eye lids are extremely oily. Nothing, I mean NOTHING, can stay on my lids for more than 3-4 hours without creasing, even with primer on. But these No 7 eyeshadow sticks manage to stay on my eye lids for a brilliant 9 hours!!!!! Still look relatively fresh at the end of it!!! Even WITHOUT eye primer!!!! It is a MIRACLE !!!! They live up to their brand name "Stay Perfect"!

I use Coffee Bean to line my upper lash lines. But "how to keep the tip stay sharp?" I tweeted Alix to ask. She said "If you pull off the little coloured cap at the end there's actually a mini sharpener hiding in there! :)" Wow!! What a clever design and how cute is that?!

I have not come across any eye shadows like these before. I am now truly in love with these little gems!!! I am going back to pick up all the other colours!!!

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
