Foodie Friday #3 : Chop Chop Noodle Bar at Shepherds Bush

I love going shopping at Shepherds Bush Westfield. Everytime I go, I always get a bite to eat there - so many restaurant to choose from and there are never-ending choices in the food court. But most of the time, I look for a cheaper alternative - Chop Chop Noodle Bar next to Shepherds Bush station.

What I love about Chop Chop are: the location, the price, and the food of course.

Singapore Laksa (Vermicelli noodles with seafood in a curry broth) - £4.90

Location is brilliant, it is just a stone throw from Westfield Shopping Centre, but with a very wallet-friendly price. Every dish, whether it is a plate of fried Singapore noodles, or noodles in broth (like this Singapore Laksa I had - my favourite dish) or fried rice dishes, they are all around £4.90 each! A similar bowl of noodles from Pho Vietnamese at the Westfield food court, it will be around £8, and smaller portions! The portion in Chop Chop is so generous Food comes steamingly hot so you know they are hot off the wok. Oh, and of course everything tastes delicious!!!

Butterfly Prawns - £3.90

They have a selection of starters (I had butterfly prawns). They do fresh juices as well! This is just a perfect lunch place, cheap and cheerful. Save money on lunch so you can treat yourself a coffee and cake later!

This weekend with Iron Man 3 and the new Star Trek movie coming up, will you make Shepherds Bush Westfield your destination? Why not pop in to Chop Chop for lunch?

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
